Our food

The starting point for our food is local, seasonal produce.

We aim to showcase the best of our small corner of the world.

We really value our local food heritage and love to discover and recreate local recipes, whether they are time-worn classics or forgotten gems.

We value craft, tradition and artisanal methods, but equally, we love innovation, new techniques and new ideas.

We want our food to be accessible to as many people as possible.

Our menus

From Wednesday to Saturday dinner we offer an a la carte menu, usually with around four choices for each course.

On Friday and Saturday lunches we have a shorter menu priced at £22/£27 for 2 courses/3 courses.

On Sunday we offer several roast options along with starters and desserts.

On Monday and Tuesday evenings we serve a shorter menu, with small bites which we think are perfect to accompany a pint or a glass of wine, or combined together, enough for a light meal.

  • all our offerings are subject to availability, as we work with a lot of small local suppliers, many of our offerings are limited and the menu does often change throughout the week
